This hand-painted kitchen is one of Prodec’s latest commissions for our client who is a construction project manager, so precise detailing was a critical element for this client!
The original kitchen was an existing high-quality Oak kitchen built just over 20 years ago to a high specification…whilst the layout still suited the clients they had a desire to modernise and achieve a more contemporary look.
After several in-depth consultations, the client opted for several changes including alterations to the layout of the island and full new granite work surfaces. The room was then decorated with a fresh lighter neutral tone thus enabling the colour selection for the kitchen units of Farrow & Ball’s Purbeck Stone to stand out more from the room…to further enhance this look the island was then painted in the darker tone of Farrow & Ball’s Moles Breath.
This project could then be completed in two stages with the main units being prepared and painted in situ whilst all doors/drawers were transferred to the workshop where they were prepared and then spray finished in the spray room giving an unrivalled showroom finish.
The kitchen was completed in just one week with the minimum of disruption to the client’s family and well in time for the festive period!
